Someone on X said they were actually okay with not hearing "All I Want For Christmas Is You" for at least another decade. But this song has literally been the face of Christmas for the best part of 30 years. Honestly, I think the world would be lost without it. A new performance of it will always be welcoming (even if its edited like a glossy music video and not an actual performance). And Mariah Carey knows it's the original song people are invested in so she will blatantly lipsync those 30-year-old vocals until the cows come home.
