Cheryl Cole has broken her silence in the wake of Liam Payne's sudden shock death this week. The former One Direction star died after falling 45ft to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony in Argentina two nights ago. The Girls Aloud singer shares her 7-year-old son Bear Grey with the late star. And she has taken to social media to slam "abhorrent reports and media exploitation" over his death. 31 is no age to die and he was clearly a very troubled young man. Something like that was never going to go unreported. And while it won't be nice for their son to see, at least he will get some sort of clarity. Rest in peace.
I haven't seen any abhorrent reports - most media outlets have just stated facts whilst also celebrating his life and achievements. He was a part of what was the biggest band on the planet at one point so its a little naive not to expect media scrutiny.
