Diddy’s attorney fires back at Dawn Richard’s “false” lawsuit & says she’s seeking a massive “pay day.”

Over the months, a plethora of sexual abuse lawsuits have been filed against Diddy. The bad news for him is that these lawsuits are showing no signs of letting up. Diddy's attorney Erica Wolff has now issued a statement following Dawn Richard's lawsuit against him for verbal abuse, assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. His attorney is firing back at Dawn’s claims accusing her of using the lawsuit to seek a massive pay out and to promote her forthcoming album. Despite this, people believe her.

No amount of money is going to heal the trauma and emotional scars that his victims had to go through, and while a $100 million pay out provides a life full of luxury, that trauma within stays with you forever. Earlier this week, it was reported that Diddy was ordered to pay $100 million to a Michigan inmate who claims the 54-year-old mogul drugged and raped him at a party in 1997.

The full statement via Diddy’s attorney:
Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in the hopes of trying to get a pay day — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour. If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the Making the Band reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on The Love Album last year. It’s unfortunate that Ms. Richard has cast their 20-year friendship aside to try and get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confidently standing on truth and looks forward to proving that in court.
This statement basically parrots the one he put out accusing Cassie of lying. That is, until the video evidence came out and proved him guilty. No one will ever believe a word that comes out of this man's mouth now. His wording is interesting too, as he’s the only one "shocked" at this point. He points out that Dawn continued to work with him after the alleged abuse. However, this is mute, due to possible contractual commitments. A very likely scenario is that he threatened her repeatedly after she tried to distance herself. As I say, this man was extremely powerful, reminding others over and over that he could end their careers at the drop of a hat. During the height of his fame and power 20-years-ago, no one "poor" was going to go up against a man with such colossal wealth.
