Tinashe announces North American leg of "Match My Freak" world tour...

Starting October 14th, Tinashe's “Match My Freak” tour is coming to a city near you. The trek serves as promotion for her upcoming album, “Quantum Baby,”  which is preceded by lead single “Nasty.”

The song peaked at #61 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July marking her first record as a lead artist to enter the chart in nearly a decade. After she wraps the 23-date North American leg, she will later make her way to the U.K, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Feels like half an album.... don't get me wrong, I like what she's done (minus no broke boys) with QB. So happy for her to be getting this recognition. Just feels like she wasn't ready, like she ran out of new material to support the whole concept of the album. It's great Pitchfork rated Quantum 7.9. Still think there's more range on her previous independent efforts. Songs for You and 333 🙌🏼 Hopefully there's a QB remix. Knowing how consistent Tinashe is, her trilogy will come next year. Hmmm I was comparing QB to Charli XCX Brat - obviously Charli has label support, but Brat just feels like it has a stronger concept - Brat is like a whole movement!
