Kamala Harris officially accepts the Democratic nomination for President at the DNC in Chicago last night. In doing so, she formally becomes the first Black woman and first Asian American to lead the ticket of a major political party. Before making her empowering speech, she came out on stage to Beyoncé’s 'Freedom.' And though Bey did not show up to perform the song as heavily rumored, it was still a very successful night!
