Beyoncé has reportedly threatened to send a cease-and-desist to the Trump campaign after the former president shared a clip of her song “Freedom” in a video posted to social media. A source close to Beyoncé tells Rolling Stone that the Trump campaign did not receive permission to use the Lemonade track in the 13-second video of Trump getting off a plane in Michigan. It was posted by Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung on Tuesday. The video was still up despite the singer's label issuing the cease-and-desist.
The track is also Kamala Harris’ unofficial campaign song, which Bey did give permission for. Ew. Why is this fat orange demented thumb using a Kamala endorsement song, especially a song that reminds people of Beyoncé wanting them to vote Harris?
