In her Billboard cover story published Thursday (March 28th), Tyla opened up to Billboard about making the final call to cancel her Coachella performance in April. Though it wasn't an easy choice for the "Water" hitmaker, she insists it was "the right decision" (on medical grounds). Her self-titled debut album, which was released last week, is aiming for first week sales of 18-20K units in the US. Under normal circumstances, this would be considered an actual flop, otherwise, quite respectable for a debuting African artist yet to establish a stable fanbase.
