Rihanna performs a concert in India for a billionaire pre-wedding...

How rich do you have to be to get Rihanna who quit music to perform at your son's pre-wedding celebrations? Over the weekend, Rihanna took to the stage wearing
Indian-inspired attire to perform a private 19-song concert. This was to celebrate the impending nuptials of Anant Ambani and his partner Radhika Merchant. If the name sounds familiar, Ambani is the youngest son of Indian billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India.

In 2018, Mukesh also paid Beyoncรฉ to perform at the wedding of his daughter, Isha Ambani. As for how much Rihanna was paid to get out of bed and learn how to hold a mic again, well, let's see. Contrasting figures have been thrown around. The UK's Mirror say she was paid £4.9m ($6.2m), NME also say she was paid $6 million, while Daily Loud say she was paid $9 million. I'm also seeing $10 million thrown around. Though I'll admit $6 million does seem a little low for someone of Ri's status especially since Ambani reportedly paid Beyoncรฉ more than DOUBLE that amount ($14 million). Therefore, I'm going to lean more towards the $9-10 million being the closer sum. The show included live renditions of hits such as ‘We Found Love’, ‘Umbrella’, ‘Stay’, ‘Rude Boy’, ‘Diamonds’, ‘Work’ and ‘All Of The Lights’I would say welcome back but clearly, this was just a financial gap stop for Rihanna.

Rihanna’s setlist was:
‘Consideration’
‘Bitch Better Have My Money’
‘Wild Thoughts’
‘Pour It Up’
‘Pose’
‘Birthday Cake’
‘Man Down’
‘Rude Boy’
‘Work’
‘Needed Me’
‘Where Have You Been’
‘We Found Love’
‘Umbrella’
‘Stay’
‘All Of The Lights’
‘Run This Town’
‘Desperado’
‘Woo’
‘Diamonds’
