The thing with Lizzo is that she spent most of her career and whole personality being "the fun fat, black chick." She made it her identity, and was all about the body positivity movement. She took people calling her fat in her stride. But the sexual assault lawsuit opened her up to further vitriol from trolls. Then SHE was the one accused of fat shaming. Taking to Instagram, she said she has had enough of the abuse and was quitting (assumingly) the music industry. Taking a break is good as her mental health must come first. However, this is just her having another tantrum (one of many; as we know she's not quitting!)
