Jennifer Lopez’s ‘This Is Me… Now’ album is officially a flop...

It is probably not the achievement Jennifer Lopez was hoping for especially for an album she deems to be her last. Her latest album ‘This Is Me... Now’ becomes her lowest Billboard 200 debut even though it was the top-selling album during that week. Her promotional machine was an absolute monster, but sales were not great having sold 21,000 units (14,000 of those units  being pure sales) and debuting at #38 on the Billboard 200.

Furthermore, it is also the first time in her music career that she’s missed the Billboard 200’s top 20 with the debut of an album. Perhaps, people are just sick and tired of hearing about her "love story." I mean, we get it. You finally got to marry "the love of her life" after 20 years of pining and rebounds but do we need to keep hearing about it? Honestly though, it's a shame because ‘This Is Me... Now’ was kind of... a slay. Check out her music video for 'Rebound,' as well as her recent ‘Apple Music Live’ concert below if you missed it.

@Toya I honestly think musicians make more money doing other things unless they are on tour. I was never a Jennifer Lopez music fan, however I enjoyed alot of her movies.

Nothing slayed about that album unless you're stuck in a 1999 time warp.

All her early albums used other artists vocals and of course Jlo gave them no credit. Especially Natasha Ramos who sang all of On the 6 and Jenny from the block, Christina Milan wrote and sang Play, but of course Jlo stole her vocals too. We could maybe look past the lack of vocal talent for the sake of entertainment. Let's be real. Jlo is no Mariah or Beyonce, but it's hard to stomach her never ending narcissism and phoniness. It comes across big time. She also lip syncs and uses alot of electronic enhancements, but oh well. Class it up, leave your clothes on and concentrate on your kids now Jlo. Stop trying to desperately prove how in love Ben is and just live your life. We are sick of it.
