Jennifer Lopez has never evolved as an artist. Her attempts to continually make (dated sounding) music for young people has fallen on deaf ears.
.
Her songs don't chart and latest single "Can't Get Enough" only sold 8K units in the US during its first full week of release.
.
It's safe to say, "We've Had Enough." And J.Lo is finally getting the memo. She reveals to ET that "This Is Me…Now" might be her last album, ever.

Well..she deff had her moments as in music and film.. she was and is a superstar no matter what who thinks. Watched Maid in Manhattan yesterday, and yes she was special. And still is.
ReplyDeleteWatch Toya hear the album and be like “she kinda ate. Gave us a farewell dish” it’s really not that the songs are dated because music is truly timeless. Murder on the dance floor is experiencing huge success now but was released 10 years ago. Jlo has peaked, because people rather see her perform then hear the new material. Janet Jackson is a good example and many other artists from back then who audience would PAY to see then to hear them release new music.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what, jlo made her mark in the music industry. She had an amazing run, had a hiccup moment with the album “Brave” and then quickly bounced back and made musics greatest comeback with “On The Floor”. I have to say it, but sis will be missed, but never forgotten.
Toya, can we have a review of this album? I’m curious to see if this would be her first album that would receive praise from critics. If Toya is rocking with it then we know what’s up!
I've never had issues with her albums. Her first two were hot. I just wish producers gave some of their best work to someone that actually had singing talent.
