Beyoncé is gearing up to drop her very own haircare line, CÉCRED on February 20th. She discusses her latest business venture (a partnership with her mother Tina Knowles) in the March/April issue of ESSENCE magazine. The feature spread includes her mother, as well as daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi.
It's refreshing that she talks about her personal hair journey and what works for her. And I like that she has done her research so that her products are more tailored to black women. Her hair is voluminous and very lengthy, and even with years of dyeing, her hair is still healthy. If that is not a good enough reason to have faith in her haircare line, I don't know what is. I just know that some people are sceptical due to the fact that she wears a lot of wigs. Hopefully, her products bring life to many a hair type! The spread precedes her new album ‘Act II,’ which drops on March 29th.
