Cassie’s ex-boyfriend Ryan Leslie says he is helping her prepare for music comeback tour...

Cassie's ex-boyfriend and former collaborator Ryan Leslie reveals to TMZ she's planning on making a music comeback in the form of a tour, bringing potentially new music on the horizon. Cassie made headlines recently after she filed a rape and physical abuse lawsuit against her ex Diddy, shortly before both parties settled out of court. Ryan and Cassie made good music together, but given she only has two hit songs under her belt, a tour is rather ambitious. Sounds like Ryan is just after some of that settlement money. I would actually have preferred it if she wrote the book instead. Of course Diddy was never going to allow that to happen.

Anyway, for nostalgia, this will always be a gem:

  1. See, this is why I'm not so "gung-ho" on the Cassie settlement situation. Because social media/YouTube is "ridin for Cassie" now, but they were MAIN ONES SHITTING ON HER & making Cassie THE POSTER CHILD FOR PRETTY PRIVILEGE in 2006 when her 106 & TRL "live performances" CRASHED & BURNED & so did the album after the fact.

So, Ryan Leslie can miss me with this "comeback tour" bullshit & he could go back to making beats on Facebook! We didn't want "a tour" when the music was poppin 17 years ago, why THE FUCK would we want one now?

  2. She has more than 2 hits under her belt to real fans. The Boys, Take Care, Must Be Love, Lose A Lover, King of Hearts to name a few

  3. I'm not sure what type of charts you're looking at but none of her other singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Me saying she had two hits is actually quite generous. "Me & U" peaked at #3 and "Long Way 2 Go" was 3 spots away from not even making the top 100. Perhaps her songs had a bigger impact overseas but not so much in the US.

    1. That's why I said "to her fans". What I mean is, songs that aren't released as singles can still be a hit/popular amongst listeners.
