Nelly says he is ready to put a baby in Ashanti | Tasha K says she is doing too much...

What Ashanti does to prove her love for Nelly is ultimately her business. And I will admit, I was one of the many people who had negative things to say about Ashanti going back to Nelly. But even Stevie Wonder can see how much she loves that man, and loving that man isn't harming anyone else. However, blogger Tasha K is acting like Nelly left her ass for his current Queen. She says Ashanti is doing too much to please the rapper while he doesn’t do much in return. She rants that if they're really together, why do they need to have four birthday parties? Why does she need to buy him a car? Why does he need to buy her everything but a ring?

 

She goes on to say that for a high-value woman that has no kids and still has her body together, Ashanti should be setting higher standards for herself. A lot of people actually agree with this. But the heart wants what the heart wants. They are a whole vibe, and always appear to be in their own little world. He has not stopped smiling since he walked his ass across that stage at the Versuz battle just to give her a hug. And don't let Tasha K find out that Nelly is planning on getting Ashanti pregnant because she really will have a seizure. 

At this point, I don't even think marriage is a big deal to Ashanti (although that was the plan initially). She just wants to be a mom and having just turned 43, she knows it needs to happen sooner rather than later. And who's to say Nelly won't do right by her and propose this time despite not being the marrying type?
