She feels 'Braxton Family Values' should have been as big as 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians.' This comparison has no credibility or correlation. They were on a lower budget TV network and had completely different audiences. Kim Kardashian also hit the jackpot as a famous social media influencer and her family followed suit.
Need I go on?

They were on a lower budget show but race still plays a key.
Before the Braxtons Family Values, I didn't know what channel WETV was on! I watched E! Network BEFORE the Kardashians came along!
I can see that I'm proving Toya's point so I'm going to end it right here! 🤣🤣🤣
There's also the age factor. Tamar is the youngest Braxton (currently 46) and Khloe is the youngest Kardashian sister (currently 39) not to mention the Jenners who are both in their mid 20s. Like you said Toya, the Kardashians got a hold of a younger more social media influenced audience that was just exploding when the show premiered. Also the Kardashians hit TV screens first in 2007 it wasn't until 2011 that Braxton Family values premiered so... Tamar is known to make absurd accusations (if you've watched the show you know what I'm talking about). For me, I think it was more age and timing (+ the network it aired on) that had more to do with their popularity then race (which I'm not saying didn't factor in but it wasn't the elephant in the room she's claiming).
