It was reported this week that Jay-Z's Made In America festival, where Lizzo was set to headline, got cancelled due to “severe circumstances outside of production’s control.” But many have speculated that this was Jay-Z's way of cancelling Lizzo over a lawsuit filed against her for fat shaming and sexual harassment. It doesn't make sense to cancel an ENTIRE festival over one artist when she could easily have been replaced.
Low ticket sales, perhaps?
