MTV execs have confirmed to Rolling Stone that J.Lo was originally planned to be a part of the iconic kiss with Madonna and Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV VMAs. In January, Jennifer told E! News about the planned performance, which saw her dropping out to shoot the film ‘Shall We Dance?’ Christina Aguilera ended up taking her place. In fact, it actually made more sense to have Christina as first choice from the get go.
