Not sure how many times music exec L.A. Reid is going to reiterate how many times he regrets dropping Lady Gaga from Def Jam in 2006.
He previously said that it was the “biggest mistake” he’d ever made, and refreshed his regret to Billy Mann on an upcoming episode of the "Yeah, I F*cked That Up" podcast. Actually, it wasn't a mistake but a massive blessing in disguise FOR HER.
Mark my words, she would NOT have become a huge star signed to his label. Her career would NOT have had the same trajectory, and he would have stifled her artistic vision. Akon cashed out and WON.
