Candace Owens is a self-hating bully. The only reason why she has hopped on the Lizzo hate train is because it has become trendy to do so. People can speak on the issue of obesity without using Lizzo as a scape goat. She knows Lizzo is super popular and loved. She knows her comments would not have hit as hard had she gone after someone like Gabourey Sidibe. And she also knows that Lizzo is simply just an easy target. Candace would not have dared to pull these antics with Adele during her fat girl era. The fact is, Owens is a grade A troll and loves to say the most controversial sh*t for attention. It's not easy for any celebrity to have their appearance constantly attacked and dissected for clicks and views. Sadly for Lizzo, she has had to deal with people constantly feigning outrage about HER weight. When and if Lizzo loses weight, she will do so in her own time. She has the means, and bullying her to make a point is wrong on so many levels.
I guess Lizzo wasn’t lying when she said “truth hurts”.
