It’s been 14 years since they last worked together ('Turntables' from her 2009 album 'Fantasy Ride.') Are people going to keep the same energy they had for Normani and Chlöe Bailey when they chose to collaborate with him? Or will they let this one slide simply because Chris and Ciara have been close for almost 20 years?
Hopefully, the song is a hit because it doesn't make sense to go through all that scrutiny and backlash only for the song not to yield any worthy results.
