Chlöe Bailey’s debut album 'In Pieces' reportedly failed to debut in the top 100. According to Chart Data, it opened at No. 119 on the Billboard 200 after only selling 10,000 units. Horrible numbers, and of course she deserved better. Amid the sales reports and turning many people off by her Chris Brown collaboration, Chlöe took to Twitter to thank those who supported her. During the week of release, she had been promoting the album heavily with appearances on television, radio programs, and in magazines. Chlöe was never destined to do big numbers because the anticipation and hype was not there after releasing multiple singles, many of which failed to chart. Her mentor Beyoncé kind of bailed on her too. When Kelly Rowland and Solange dropped new albums, she promoted their projects on Instagram, but there was not a peep from her this time round.
Bey's 'Renaissance' tour kicks off in 30 days so she must be up to her neck in rehearsals, but posting a link to Apple Music and Spotify only takes less than a minute. That said, Chlöe is proud of her work and appears excited to perform her new album on tour. No amount of (lacklustre) sales will define how she feels because she put all of her blood, sweat and tears into this project.
Chlöe's 'In Pieces' debuts at #119 on this week's Billboard 200 (10K sold; @ChloeBailey).

Unbothered as she should be. One thing I've taken into consideration when looking at her sales, Chloe X Halle never did huge numbers collectively. So it's not surprising to me she did sell big out the gate. She's driven and immensely talented. The only way is up from here.
They should have released her album late 2021. Wishing her the absolute best. I'm loving the praise this movie & soundtrack.
