CUFF IT: Beyoncé breaks her own record on the Billboard Hot 100...

As of this week, 'Cuff It' is now Beyoncé’s longest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 surviving on the tally for 34 weeks. The 'Renaissance' smash is also Beyoncé’s fifth song to spend at least 30 weeks on the Hot 100.

'Telephone' (a Lady Gaga song featuring Beyoncé) made it to 33 weeks. 'Halo' made it to 31 weeks. Both 'Irreplaceable' and 'Mi Gente' with J Balvin and Willy William made it to 30 each. This just proves that after a 25-year career, Beyoncé is THE GOAT. She drops this new album and does ZERO promotion for it. Not one single music video has been released. It's been almost a year since the album dropped. Then she announces her stadium tour, which sells out instantly. The lack of promo and music videos may work for someone like Beyoncé and ignoring her own album certainly has not hindered her success. She's Queen B after all, and her hardcore fanbase is going to come through regardless. She may have been able to ignore her own album without suffering much damage, but poor Chlöe Bailey does not have the privilege of Beyoncé ignoring HER album. A quick endorsement on social media could have made a significant difference to Chlöe's chart position. Her debut solo album 'In Pieces' failed to make the top 100 on the Billboard 200 after only selling 10,000 units. Of course Bey is not entirely to blame for Chlöe's low album sales and chart position. We're not going to turn this into a blame Beyoncé bashing post. However, Chlöe IS her protégé and showing the album some public acknowledgement could have benefited her massively. As for Bey, there really isn't a reason for 'Cuff It' not to be deserving of its success. It is in deed a great feel good R&B/pop record. We all want to dance, fall in love and occupy feel good vibes. In fact, Beyoncé made the family cookout song of the year.

  1. Seeing Beyonce In Miami In August,l. As For Chloe, Her Album Didn't Perform Well. However She Sold Out Her First Tour Date 2,500 People Showed Up, So Congrats To Her. You Gotta Work Your Way Up.

  2. She has songs way more deserving within her catalogue. I'd even say there are better songs on the album, but whatever. And when is Act II being released, I tired of Act I after a week.

  3. Toya, I gotta disagree! Columbia Records gave the budget to Chloe to shoot 7 videos for her songs, 4 of which didn't even make the album(Have Mercy, Treat Me, Surprise & the song with Latto), so Columbia was more invested in Chloe!

Meanwhile, Beyoncè put 2 singles for Break My Soul & Cuff It, which both became BIG hits because of an ORGANIC Tic Tok buzz! Also, Tic Tok
ripped the Drunk In Love & Countdown vocal parts from her Dubai performance & they took on a life of their own, again, ORGANICALLY! So, Columbia Records didn't really invest in Renaissance & it still made a profit!
