Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger having a successful pop career is almost like trying to bleed water out of a stone. But has she actually considered going the rock route? Her lane has always been urban-pop, and the American market has never budged on what she was serving musically. But when she appeared on the Season 2 premiere of Jimmy Fallon's 'That's My Jam' and bodied an incredible rock version of Celine Dion’s 'My Heart Will Go On,' people started thinking that maybe, just maybe, all was not lost with the talented singer. I’ve always thought she was extremely talented, I think her solo career wasn’t successful because of all the drama in PCD. She got a lot of bad press and people were not rooting for her during her solo run. Plus urban pop is always hard for a non-black artist to conquer. Age was also a factor.
