In the latest episode of The Originals, Chaka Khan discusses Rolling Stone's controversial “200 Greatest Singers of All Time” list with the podcast’s host, Andrew Goldman. She implied that Mariah Carey is not worthy of placing at #5, stating, “That must be payola or some sh*t like that!”

This woman chose violence. Every time. While some may find it hilariously entertaining and simply dismiss it as... Chaka being Chaka... to deny MC’s talent and legacy in the industry is simply blasphemy at this point. As we all know that list is a joke, debatable and not to be taken seriously. There are so many names Chaka could have come for on a “greatest singers of all time” list… but Mariah Carey?! Is she having a laugh?
