Jennifer Lopez announces summer release for new album, ❝This Is Me…Now.❞
It has almost been a decade since Jennifer Lopez dropped an album. Marriage has given her the itch to scream it from the rooftops that she finally married Ben Affleck after 20 years and that she's in love. Not that she hasn't been doing that with their very staged paparazzi strolls. During Spotify’s Stream On event, J.Lo says: “My upcoming album This Is Me … Now is coming out this summer. Yes, you heard it here first.” The project serves as a romantic sequel to 2002’s ‘This Is Me…Then’.
Yes she’s no Mariah or Bey but I still remember when I got her first single on CD and drove around pumping it. She does know how to release tracks you can groove to.
I agree. I’m not having the highest expectations but if she brings a couple of bangers or so, I’m here for it. I just fear too much of a lovey dovey ballad heavy album. But I’ll still be looking…
