Missy Elliott responds to theory R&B is suffering because she’s no longer executive producing the albums...

Missy is a great producer and Aaliyah's 'One In A Million' will always remain one of my favourite R&B albums. However, R&B is not suffering due to her no longer executive producing the albums. It is suffering because record labels don't care about their artists delivering quality anymore. They only care about artists making albums full of TikTok hits. Things like this makes me appreciate growing up in the 90s when music use to be timeless. 

Funfact years ago a executive told me i needed to make the singers pull back on singing because they were over singing on songs & people didn’t want to hear all that anymore🤷🏾‍♀️😔 so I kind of became discouraged but I’d love executive produce R&B albums again☺️
