Chlöe Bailey’s ❝For the Night❞ failing to make chart impact EQUALS further album delays...

Chlöe Bailey is struggling to get an album out. What's worse is that she pretty much implied her label won't back an album release until she gets a hit single. It doesn't look like the album will be coming any time soon since her latest single, the Latto assisted 'For the Night' debuted at a disappointing #25 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart (even Normani's last single 'Fair' did slightly better, but that's not saying much!) Beyoncé's protégé should have just released her album off the back of her viral TikTok hit, 'Have Mercy,' which has been her highest performing single to date. The track peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is certified Platinum in the US.

  1. I totally agree, The Gap Between Have Mercy & Treat Me Was 7 Months... I Haven't Heard For The Night NOT once on the radio.... They May Tell Her To Record The Whole Album Over.

  3. It will be interesting to see how they move forward after the song has now flopped. They obviously thought Latto would have given it some charge.

  4. Can't trust these record labels... They need to start releasing these albums after the first or second single (period). Regardless of the song not reaching a top 10 placement. Just release it and let it marinate and hopefully grow from word of mouth. At this point she'll be releasing an album the same time as Normani, which is NEVER. Both of their albums are fictitious... they'll never officially exist for the general public. If it was gonna happen, it would have already. Both ladies have stated multiple times that their albums are almost or completely finished. IDK how a debut album can be coming soon for 4 years. (at least drop a mixtape or something with all the discarded songs you've amassed over the years) Has any other major debut gone like this? Embarrassing. I'd rather they just be truthful and say they don't know when their albums will be released. Don't even hint unless the release date is on lock!

  5. Chloe Needs To Step Away From Social Media Until January & Really Give Is A Solid R&B Album Because She's A Soul Singer.... Her Voice Is Just Too POWERFUL For These POP Songs... I Mean Literally She Can Go Low Like Toni.

  6. The real problem her label only sent Have Mercy to radio. All the other songs they’re relying on Tik Tok for her to get a hit which is stupid cause all of GP have Tik Tok accounts. She’s been performing these songs constantly live at various events they need to send the songs to radio cause they’re all catchy radio songs. Surprise did well on the R&B chart not sure why Beyoncé picked that as the 3rd single when majority voted For The Night lol. At this point I thinks she’s better going the Tinashe route tbh

  7. Chloe didn’t solidify her black fan base before going too pop. That was a mistake. R&B should have been her first genre to master.
