However, people would take her more seriously if she was able to land these gigs solely on her own merits and not just because she is the artist of former Pepsi Queen Beyoncé. In hindsight, Doja Cat had to have two successful albums under her belt and a plethora of hits before she could snag her very own Pepsi commercial. Chlöe recreates the classic ❝Footloose❞ for Pepsi's brand new ad campaign. The commercial's purpose is to promote the return of Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop, consisting of the classic soda shop flavors, as well as the new limited edition Zero Sugar Cream Soda Cola. Beyoncé's impact is something serious. Chlöe is not even mainstream. Neither does she have an album out or a mega hit, and miraculously, she gets her very own Pepsi commercial. Good for her in getting this kind of promotion though.

Building a brand around their artist so if the music fails they still be making money. I mean Rita Ora wasn’t big in the states but she getting endorsements deal over there and booking shows as a host
