Ashanti: ❝Irv Gotti degraded & harrassed me, said he made me f*ck-able...❞ | Interviews with Angie Martinez & Hot 97

What a controlling and insecure little man Irv Gotti is! So Ashanti recently sat down with Angie Martinez’s ❝IRL Podcast❞ where she finally addressed Irv Gotti's allegations about their secret relationship. The interview, now available to watch in full, sees Ashanti being very quick to say she didn't have a ❝relationship❞ with Gotti. It was more of a ❝situationship.❞ 

So they basically slept together (while he was separated and living apart from his wife). However, they were NEVER in a relationship like that and he had plenty of girls he was messing with (her words). The singer, preparing to release her new single ❝Falling For You❞ this Friday, recalls when she first started dating Nelly. A jealous Gotti became extremely bitter and threatened them both. Ashanti goes on to describe how Gotti would put her down, degrade her and say he made her ❝f*ck-able.❞ The man that gave her a record deal at 14 and was suppose to protect her would go on to manipulate the impressionable young woman. He would tell her, ❝Nobody wants to record with you.❞ And, ❝No one likes you,❞ as a way of controlling who she worked with. He harassed and isolated the singer for years, verbally and psychologically abusing her, sabotaging her professionally and made up stories to tarnish her name even further. The girl he looked at as HIS PROPERTY ( and in his words, she owes her entire life and career to him) had moved on and his male ego got bruised. So bruised to where it f*cked with him mentally for 20 years. She says Gotti used her for ratings to promote his Murder Inc documentary.
