Family rifts are common. It is more common if you just so happen to be a member of the melodramatic Jackson family. I've never been slapped by an auntie. Neither have I disrespected one for that matter. I have in deed rifted with my mother, siblings and cousins, so I know this is just part of every day life. There have been rumours for years that Janet Jackson has had an ongoing rift with her niece Paris. Ever since her brother the late King of Pop tragically passed away 13 years ago, those rumours seem to have escalated. Past footage shows Janet attempting to snatch a phone off Paris and there have been rumors of them fighting each other. I'm no expert in reading body language but their physical interaction (or lack thereof) is interesting. Dare I say it, but it all looks a bit... forced. Earlier this week, Michael Jackson's daughter and sister met up for Paris Fashion Week. Neither of them were putting their arms around each other and Paris looked totally disengaged. As a matter of fact, Janet has shown more physical affection towards her students Ciara and Teyana Taylor. This just seems like a photo op to say, ❝yuh, yuh... we're cool, but we still don't f*ck with each other like that!❞ Time heals all wounds I guess, and a photo op together (even if forced) is still a turning point.
