I can't believe there still many fans who refuse to admit that Madonna have serious health and mental problems, and need help asap.

How you can be so blind and denied it? What we saw today was hot mess, worst Madonna performance in her career. I'm heartily worried about her
Madonna’s performance with Maluma makes me sad because we are witnessing her decay for the first time ever. Don’t @ me with “ageism” claims, but it was evident she couldn’t even keep with the rhythm and she has never missed a beat dancing. I’m so sad.
— MarΓa (Motomami) (@Viniceo) May 1, 2022
I agree. I’m a loyal fan, but last night it was giving me cringe because that is not a Madonna presentation. Not an assertive and right decision to perform that way at all. #malumaenelmapa #Madonna
— ANDY A. ISAZA (@andyisazapr) May 1, 2022
I don’t really know what to say. I didn’t like the performance at all. It was messy on so many levels but Madonna didn’t seem to be ok and that made me sad. I’m sure she didn’t intend it to be this way. All I can blame her for is her hair and grillz, the rest just went wrong π.

Not gonna apologise for commenting how awful last night's live performance of "Music" by Madonna was. Been following that unapologetic artist since her very first album, I can express my disappointment. Some deluded Madonna fans (whom I don't follow) have attacked me for that.
— Zephyr (@Intheskyatnight) May 1, 2022
Saying this out of genuine concern.
— jeffywitt (@jeffywitt1) May 1, 2022
Something was really off tonight with @Madonna. I have never seen her perform to chaotically, unprepared, and so nervous and uncomfortable looking.
I’m really worried something bigger is going on bc that was not my Queen on stage tonight.
Worst Madonna performance EVER. I expect nothing from Maluma, but can’t accept him dragging her low like this. I usually overlook the voice filters in her performances because of how dynamic her shows are but this was embarrassing…they are just speaking for God’s sake. https://t.co/c0NK9eFZwL

After watching the whole Madonna performance last night something was definitely off. Medellin was good and I loved seeing her on stage but I am speaking out because I love her and I’m worried about her ❤️ pic.twitter.com/4tDspwjroa
— Chris Chandler (@amaterial_boi) May 1, 2022
I’m a die hard Madonna fan but her guest spot at Maluma’s concert was so awkward to watch. Never thought I’d see such poor dancing and missing cues for her lyrics from her. Medellin was okay but Music was just terrible. π’ pic.twitter.com/XKpKdcgWtO

My take might be selfish but hear me out: after watching her, I feel sad for myself. The Madonna of my youth appears to be gone. I keep hoping for another great album and another great tour. (IMO, X was neither) I’m not sure if either is in the cards for her. And it makes me sad.
— Patrick in SRQ π πΊπ¦ (@LwrPin) May 1, 2022
It wasn’t the mistakes or how she looked honestly, everyone gains weight and can flub a queue or miss a step. The Madonna confidence was missing. She looked lost and uncomfortable. It’s ok to love her but also be sad when she doesn’t seem like herself. She is my #1,always will be
— James ππΌ (@youknowwhat6504) May 1, 2022
Totally lost, it looked like she didn’t know where she was or why she was there. The bits with the dancers was more like the old Madonna the rest was messy. Maybe it’s cos we remember what a perfectionist she was for the best part of 40 years
— john suddes (@johnsuddy) May 1, 2022
It’s very sad but it’s time for Madonna to retire from performance, like Tina Turner, before becoming ridiculous.
— Giamp (@giamp9000) May 1, 2022
I love and support Madonna so I won’t comment on the performance.
— madonnamatt73 (@madonnamatt73) May 1, 2022
As a Madonna fan of over 30 years, this performance has made me so sad. Usually a professional and perfectionist, she looks uncomfortable and lost at times. I hope she has people around her who care about her well-being. I π Madonna.

That Madonna performance with Maluma was so hard to watch

What was Madonna thinking?? Her performance with MALUMA is an embarrassment. Sad, actually.
— MyCuzzin Vinni, Esq. (@mycuzzinvinni) May 1, 2022
Am I the only Madonna fan that’s worried about her? I feel somethings not right. She needs all the love right now. I enjoyed her performance last night but something is off. Please stop the hate fans she needs our love ❤️
— Chris Chandler (@amaterial_boi) May 1, 2022
If you consider yourself a @Madonna fan. Please DO NOT WATCH her “performance” with #MalumaLive It’s sad and hard to see how she’s decaying and no one is stopping her. SAD. pic.twitter.com/tkpBeipxnR

Madonna's performance of "Music" in particular last night (or rather very early this morning) was terribly BAD. Absolutely off. Some Madonna forums are in meltdown overdrive. Clearly the artist was there to disturb her own peace. She's done. #Maluma #Madonna #MalumaLive #gone
— Zephyr (@Intheskyatnight) May 1, 2022
Madonna should stop “trying” to do energetic performances that she’s no longer able to do. It just looks awful. A guitar and some artsy shit is way better. So sad
— RR (@RedRebel91) May 1, 2022
At least @Madonna is consistent… consistent-ly tarnishing her legacy. Almost four decades of being a pioneer, and now? Who even knows. Take her phone off her, put her in a home and be done with it.
— chris parko (@chrisparko) May 1, 2022
Put her in a home? I'm certainly not defending the performance, but hard to believe a fan would say that.
— Emerson (@IrvineEmerson) May 1, 2022
I'm sad I love this woman not much more I can say I need sleep and time to process what just happened
— Spanky❌ (@SocietysBoy) May 1, 2022
I read many negative and harsh comments about Madonna's performance. She's 63, of course doesn't dance like before. This is exactly what she said years ago: "Do not age because to age is a sin. You will be criticized, you will be vilified." Ironically this is proven by her fans. pic.twitter.com/f2aUaNV970
— Michael. MacLeod (@fandedontoni) May 1, 2022
you know what? she actually ate this. not everything has to be immaculately choreographed superbowl level theatrics. madonna has always been more than a popstar, this performance is punk rock pic.twitter.com/fGJjmQRip0
— Dita (@madgelore) May 1, 2022
Sis why do y'all hate Madonna's performance? She's 63! Let her do her own thing!!! Y'all be asking for a live performance or a new song and literally be the one to judge her after doing what y'all asked for. Aren't y'all tired clowning?! pic.twitter.com/rtmGPHMH04

It was the first time she could not hold the spotlight. Time passes for all.
ReplyDeleteHi everybody, I just want to say this: 1. I could see, that she was giving her maximum strength and energy in it 2. I could see, that she has health difficulties that limit her mobility, speed and therefore her dance lacks graceful and elegant moves 3. I could see, that she is very brave, probably very exhausted 4. I could see of course, that she put a lot of weight during recent years, especially during Covid times: but come´on guys, that can happen. Maybe it is a result of taking corticosteroids that are used for terrible pain of joints, painkillers and maybe also some antidepresants. If such an active person like Madonna stops moving because of injury of pain, then other troubles and difficulties occur... and also putting on weight.... Obviously she has problems also with her spine or lower backs. But who would be surprised, when she used to train and exercise and dance every single day for many hours for 63 years! Yes, age is also a limitiation factor. I just hope that she will recover soon. I really do not expect from her artistic and difficult dancing, I would be happy for very little moves too. She does not need to prove anything. She already has done it. Many times. I wish her long life and strong health and happiness.
