OSCAR NOMINEE BEYONCÉ IS A NO-SHOW AT THEIR LUNCHEON...
Despite Beyoncé receiving a nomination for ❝Best Original Song❞ at the Oscars, she wasn’t at the annual nominees luncheon earlier today at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel. Bey received the nod for her power ballad ❝Be Alive,❞ which she wrote with songwriter Dixson for the Venus and Serena Williams biopic ❝King Richard.❞ If this was the Dreamgirls era and she was nominated, that chick would have been RACING to eat their seasonless chicken dishes.
I heard from a source that's works in the industry that Beyonce is releasing her FINAL album in 2023 & after that she's focusing on signing new artist to her PARKWOOD label....
ReplyDeleteToya,in the Dreamgirls era, they didn't nominate her. Dreamgirls was set up for Jennifer Hudson to win, Beyoncè, Jamie Foxx & Eddie Murphy just sold the tickets.
ReplyDeleteThat's in deed very true.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous Jennifer's talent set her up to win that night! Beyonce CAN'T act! She probably would have won in the songs category, however she wasn't qualified that year. Maybe this year will be her year to do so, maybe!

ReplyDeleteWas it the talent? They tried to rehash her as Aretha Franklin & it didn't work this time!
Like I said, it was set up for Jennifer Hudson to win because Jennifer Holiday had the same success playing Effie in Dreamgirls on Broadway & won the Tony Award! Then she got a record deal!
Jennifer Hudson loss in the Top 10 on American Idol, didn't get the deal with Clive Davis but after Dreamgirls success, Clive signed her to J. Records! Same results!
Listen was nominated for the oscar. However, that year they changed the rules. Only 2 or 3 songwriters could be nominated on the song. Since beyonce was third or fourth writer, she was disqualified. They did her dirty, and she knows she prob wont win. Thats prob why she aint go.
ReplyDeleteBut she did go to the Oscars that year, she performed Listen at the Oscars! Like I said, Beyoncè, Jamie & Eddie were THE NAMES that sold the tickets.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Hudson was "the breakout star" of Dreamgirls that got all the awards & attention! Years later, they tried to recreate that same thing with Respect: The Aretha movie, but it didn't work this time! The difference was, they DIDN'T bank on J-Hud to sell Dreamgirls! They banked on J-Hud to sell Respect, but it didn't work!
