Earlier this morning, tickets for Ashanti's UK arena tour with special guests Trey Songz and Mario went on general sale. The tour celebrates the 20 year anniversary of her 2x platinum selling debut single ❝Foolish.❞ Upcoming tour stops include London, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester from late May through to early June. She announced last year she was re-recording her debut album in an effort to strong-arm a larger percentage of her royalties away from Irv Gotti and her former record label Murder Inc. That very label is now getting its own five-part documentary series, but what unforeseen stories will be told about the very machine that turned Ja Rule and Ashanti into legends?

I actually want to see the Murder Inc Documentary because Irv Gotti played a HUGE ROLE in getting DMX & Jay-Z deals at Def Jam BEFORE we knew who Ja Rule & Ashanti were! Before starting Murder Inc, he was the A&R of Def Jam & he Co-Executive Produced DMX 1st album that help launch Ja Rule & Murder Inc!
So I can't say Irv was nobody before Ja & Ashanti! Ashanti got a spot on Murder Inc because Irv let her do features. They could've easily just thrown Lil Mo or better yet Christina Milian on Pov City Anthem or Always On Time, if we're being real...and I LOVE Ashanti by the way. I'm just saying. Hell, they were easily J-Lo her shit, remember?
