Justin Timberlake is rumored to appear in Janet Jackson’s much-hyped two-night Lifetime/A&E documentary premiering on Friday, according to a source familiar with the production. It’s been 18 years since the pair (who share the same publicist) shocked the entire world with their infamous Super Bowl halftime show. If JT really is in the documentary, he has some serious audacity! Then again, this could just be some carefully planned PR stunt which of course he will use to his advantage. If this is true this opportunist is most likely at least hoping he can spin it in a positive light to drum up interest in his new album, an album that only die-hard fans will be anticipating. We know he is currently in the studio working with some top-tier urban producers after his country-inspired-but-not-actually-country album ❝Man of the Woods❞ flopped horribly. He released it to coincide with his 2018 headline performance at the Super Bowl. As for his rumoured appearance, he will probably repeat or paraphrase what was written in his PR-crafted apology which he posted to Instagram last year. Janet is going to be the number one trending topic on social media this weekend and the tea emanating from this documentary will be absolutely scalding! In related news, Janet appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to promote the doc. This interview was just... Kelly is not a great interviewer... or at least it didn't come across that way in THIS particular interview. It was like watching an overhyped, giddy stan hyperventilating and then proceeding to make it all about herself. Most of us don't care, Kelly.
"How can you document your life, tell your story, in 4 hours? It's a very difficult thing to do." 💙 Can't wait for the new #JanetDoc on Lifetime! @janetjackson pic.twitter.com/RmUYsHygvM
