Mariah Carey's ❝All I Want for Christmas Is You❞ (Columbia)is the gift that keeps on giving.
The 1994 festive classic, co-written and co-produced by Mariah and long-time collaborator Walter Afanasieff, has become the first and only holiday single to receive the RIAA's diamond award (10 million copies.)Although this was reported last month, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed the news yesterday in a press release, as did MC on social media. It becomes the 68th single in the history of recorded music to be certified Diamond! Congrats MC!
