Fans react to Donna Summer looking eerily like Kelly Rowland in 1979 photo...

Fans have reacted to a magazine photo posted by music critic Craig Seymour
which shows a 1979 Donna Summer looking eerily like Rowland.
Many fans are calling for Rowland to play Summer in a biopic after seeing the photo.

Rowland's uncanny resemblance has always been well documented. She's been indirectly self advocating for the role in several photoshoots and costume tributes.

What the hell are directors waiting for?!

  1. I see a slight resemblance, but not overwhelmingly so. I wouldn't get them confused at first glance. You can take select images and find a striking resemblances between many celebs, and also take select ones where the resemblances are worlds apart. Maybe I'm just overprotective of Donna's legacy - freaking love her!

  2. Maybe not in her older years but there is definitely a resemblance between young Donna and a current looking Kelly. They have similar face shape and their facial structure and features are also strikingly similar which makes the comparisons very valid. They may not be exact tracing paper dopplegangers, but you don't have to be an exact copy n paste of someone to be considered their lookalike.

  6. I agree - facial bone structure is very similar, but I just don't see them look eerily alike in that pic of Donna, and the other pic is Kelly forcefully simulating her look. I actually see a resemblance between Donna and Rochelle Hulmes looking at that pic.
