Britney Spears turns 40 today + announces she is retiring from music to live her best life.

On her 40th birthday, Britney Spears has 

announced she is officially retiring. 

If anyone deserves a retirement and a chance to live life 

on their own terms, it’s Ms Spears. 

No one can deny that the pop icon has had a legendary career!  She’s a beautiful example of artistry, resilience, and a brave voice against the hidden controls of Hollywood. Now she is slowly embracing public life following the termination of her 13-year conservatorship. The singer and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, are documenting her birthday journey as they head out of the country for the star’s 40th. 

In the events leading up to her big day, Britney took aim at TMZ for reiterating her past frequent visits to public restrooms since they papped her going into one two days ago.

A lot of people make stops to public restrooms, but let Britney be papped in one, and it's headline news. At least this time, she is in a much happier place than she was in the darker times of 2007. Anyway, Sam shared a message to Britney ahead of her birthday sweetly referring to her as ❝his wife.❞ Their big day is going to be epic!!!!
