Lady Of Soul... Ashanti? Let's just say congratulations...
BET's 2021 Soul Train Awards kicked off last night. Held at the famed Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York, Ashanti bagged her ❝Lady of Soul❞ award, which was presented to her by Normani. Additionally, Ashanti performed her 2002 classic ❝What's Luv?❞ with Ja Rule and Fat Joe, which certainly brought an air of nostalgia. If ❝soulless❞ Ashanti can win this award, perhaps non-singing Normani can win it in ten years time if she is able to drop some albums.
Viewers can watch her speech and performance when the ceremony airs on November 28th.
