Britney Spears is officially a free woman! After nearly 14 years,
Britney’s conservatorship has officially been terminated.
Judge Brenda Penny has freed the tormented singer from her longstanding conservatorship that’s lasted for over a decade. She is now free to make her own medical, financial and personal decisions for the first time since 2008. Earlier today, she sported a #FreeBritney T-shirt ahead of the court hearing with a caption that read, “It’s a human rights movement.” Her fiancé Sam Asghari reacted to the fantastic news, taking to Instagram to write: “History was made today. Britney is Free!” Yes! In deed she really is. FINALLY.
