According to reports, Little Mix are reportedly set to announce next month
that they are formally splitting up.
Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall are said to officially call it a day as a trio
with an announcement set to come in mid-November so that they can all pursue solo careers.
Their upcoming tour is reported to be a final farewell to their fans.
Apparently, a date is already set to announce the split. Their tour ends
next year May 2022 in London's 02 Arena.
Jesy Nelson announced her departure from the group in December 2020.
This was kind of expected. When Zayn Malik left One Direction, the boyband announced their split not too long after. Like them or not they have had a good run, and it is always best to go out on top. They made their millions, had their babies and can live a comfortable life to a point where they no longer have to work to any pressure. They get to choose the hours that suits them as new mothers. This might not even be true given the source but one day we know it's going to happen.
I hope this is true, and if it is, thank goodness. I think they're the most annoying, boring girl band in the history of UK girl bands. The vocals aren't great, and neither are the songs. Spice Girls, AllSaints, Atomic Kitten, Sugababes (excluding the final line-up), Eternal, The Saturdays, Mis-Teeq all had personality as individuals and as a group, but after 10 years I only really figured out which one was who in Little Mix this year.
ReplyDeleteTo say that they weren’t vocally great is a down right lie and you can tell who sang their parts cause of them had their own unique tone. If you didn’t like them say that but since Destiny’s Chil/Danity Kane they were the only group out at the time giving harmonies, good live vocals and stage presence 😕 Anyways im saddened as I would have love to her an album as LM3 cause Confetti sounded better without Jesy vocals #noshade
ReplyDeleteI kind of did say that. And I stand by my opinion that their vocals weren't great and neither were their songs and silly girly lyrics such as "shoutout to my ex" etc. Since we're comparing US girl bands, which I deliberately didn't mention, I'll reference En Vogue, XSCAPE, Jade and even PCD as examples as groups that had vocal serves for days. I'm sorry but Little Mix just pale in comparison for me and I'll be glad to see the back of them.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a reunion of atomic litten, the aatuedays, misteeq and especially sugababes, when are they gonna release any mew music? and anyone here for a destinys child reunion tour?
ReplyDeleteLol I didn’t mention the older groups for a reason and PCD was literally one singer and back up dancers ☠️
ReplyDeleteThe only group I mentioned that wasn't active during the same period DC and Danity Kane were is Jade. And all members of PCD contributed vocals to their tracks.
