❝It’s about to be a movie,❞ she says in the caption.
Jesy Nelson shares behind the scenes photos of the 'Boyz' music video, which will be released tomorrow! The song, which features the Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj, is now available to pre-order. It's hard not to jump on the Jesy hate train and act like she didn’t endure awful things when it came to body image and bullying. A lot of people can relate to her plight and know how much it can hurt. However, she needs to extend the girls the same courtesy and not minimize their struggles. She has constantly played the victim when her band mates were *also* struggling.
Leigh-Ann suffered too with the racism. Do we see her whine about it in every interview? It's actually okay to have an interview with magazines without mentioning the group especially when her choice of words aren't great. If she wants to go solo and start a new chapter, she needs to put all that behind her and move on.
She's giving me Little Britain Vicky Pollard vibes with this Boyz era. It must be a deliberate nod to the 90s/00s as no girl I know dresses/looks like this in 2021.
ReplyDeleteIt is. She's tributing the 90s/00s since the song is also a nod to that very era.
ReplyDeleteWell hopefully it sounds authentic as the image comes across as forced and contrived.
