Teyana Taylor is staying true to her word about going on tour before she retires from the music game. Just moments ago, she announced 'The Last Rose Petal' as her farewell tour. Back in December 2020, she announced that she was retiring from music because she felt “super underappreciated” as an artist. The 12-date trek kicks off on November 7th in San Francisco, with stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, and New York before wrapping on November 30th in Atlanta.
The tour comes in support of her final project, 'The Album', which was released in June 2020. Ya'll grabbing tickets? It feels like her and Keyshia Cole announcing their retirement is a marketing strategy, and that this isn't the last we'll be hearing from them. Neither of them are my favourite singers so I won't be moping around about never hearing another album from them but they DID bring something to the table.
