Rihanna silently drops lawsuit against her shady father...

Two years ago, Rihanna filed a lawsuit against her father Ronald Fenty and his business partner Moses Joktan Perkins. The pair were misusing her name to bring further business to their company Fenty Entertainment. In the original suit, Rihanna had claimed that despite multiple (much ignored) cease and desist requests, her father was also booking shows without her authorization. 

The case had been set to go to trial on September 22nd. However, Rihanna has now quietly dropped her lawsuit and filed court docs requesting a dismissal. Britney and Beyoncé's dads aren't the only ones that have done some shady, messed up sh*t. Why he'd do that to his own daughter when she is very generous with her family and friends to begin with is something I will never understand. It seems they've made amends and have grown closer since the pandemic broke out last year, so this news isn't that surprising. The terms of their settlement are confidential.
