It's hard to understand why because she had the entire package; catchy pop tunes, a beautiful face, stage presence, likability. Christina should have been the Latina equivalent to Britney Spears. Maybe she didn't have the right team behind her, who knows? But to this day, it still remains a mystery as to why she didn't blow up. She should have done after the success of 'Dip It Low,' which was her biggest single to date, topping the dance charts and reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. And on that note, I am going to go listen to her 'So Amazin' album, because it really is so amazing.
As Christina turns 40 today, Beyoncé wishes her a happy birthday on beyonce.com.

I wish her music career was more successful and went on longer. She was a brilliant popstar, I still listen to her albums to this day.
Her singles run in the UK is just stellar, they all went top 5 besides Whatever U Want which was top 10. Oh well at least her acting career is still doing decently.
I was listening to the Jazmine Sullivan demo of "Say I" recently. I wish they'd duetted on it.
