Beyoncé to release new song for the upcoming ❝King Richard❞ O.S.T...

Beyoncé has reportedly recorded a new song titled, 'Be Alive', for Will Smith’s new film ‘King Richard’. The empowering anthem is produced and written by Beyoncé and Dixson. The song’s release date is unknown, but the biopic based on the father of tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams will open in theatres and premiere on HBO on Friday, November 19th.

Will Smith's performance in King Richard is already garnering Oscar buzz prior to its first screening at the Telluride Film Festival this week, but can the same be said for this new Bey song? It's a soundtrack song, so I'm not expecting anything amazing. Actually, it's almost certainly guaranteed to give off some cheese. But as long as she throws in a bit of chilli and pepper to give it that added flavour, I'll take it.
