Aaliyah’s biggest albums have been unavailable for two decades. Courtesy of Empire and Blackground, her full catalog of albums will be released on Spotify starting August 20th. Prior to this latest development, Aaliyah’s estate are fuming. There has been no announcement from Apple Music, whatsoever. As of now this looks to be a Spotify exclusive. Who'd have thought this day was ever going to happen? It's been 20 years too late, but better late than never.
