No one should be forced to put something into their body if they’re not comfortable with it, or have pre-existing conditions that could counter-act with the Covid-19 vaccine. People have had their jobs threatened, and others told they should be forced to pay for treatment where required due to their vaccine refusal.
When singer Monica was called "stupid" for not getting vaccinated, she hinted at medical reasons and calmly put that person in their place during an Instagram Live. “You’re entitled to your opinion, but let’s not speak to each other in a disrespectful manner” she said. “You can’t say that someone’s stupid because they’ve chosen not to do something, because you don’t know the discussions myself and my doctor have had, especially with the condition that I’m currently in. So, I’m doing what’s best for me and I suggest you do what’s best for you. And that would include watching your mouth.”
Monica, known to pop off when required, was serving that Whitney Houston feistiness and showing you can read someone without raising your voice to 95 decibels. It was her 7-year-old daughter Laiyah Shannon that stole the show with her eye-popping facial expression towards the end. She knows that tone all too well.
