According to HDD predictions, Doja Cat's new album 'Planet Her' is set to debut at either #2 or #3 with 100K. Going from 8K to 100K is a big improvement. However, execs clearly aren't happy with these numbers. A deluxe version of 'Planet Her' has just been released. This won't be able to overtake Tyler, The Creator's 'Call Me if You Get Lost' for the number one spot (175K). But it may just secure the number 2 position which she's competing for with Olivia Rodrigo's 'Sour.' Releasing a deluxe a day after official release isn't common practice and it screams desperate. Her team are definitely scrambling.

ReplyDeleteThey are very time consuming but I'd definitely like to. With the next big release I may very well do it.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Our tastes are very similar.
ReplyDeleteAs for the deluxe edition, that Eve collaboration deserved to be immediately added upon album release.
