Never seen before photos of Janet Jackson at her secret 1991 wedding to dancer Rene Elizondo Jr have surfaced online today. The photos appeared because she is holding a Julien’s Auction next month.
The event will see her auction off that actual wedding dress alongside jewellery, music video and tour costumes alongside childhood artefacts and 1,000 other personal items worn throughout her four-decades long career. Each piece, which includes her military jacket from her ‘Rhythm Nation’ video, will come with a personalised note from the pop icon herself.
The items will be on display at London's Hard Rock Cafe for a few days before moving to New York and then Los Angeles. Those pieces are collector's item gold for the hardcore Jackson fan with fat pockets. Even the wedding dress would be worth some serious bob despite it being one of the worst wedding dresses I have seen in my entire life!
