Coachella has now been pushed to April of 2022, and won't return in October as initially planned, according to Variety.
This would mark a two-year absence for the Cali festival, which takes place over two weekends.
It explains why there are still concerns in regards to over 100,000 people from all over the world gathering at a single event. In the UK, concerts can reportedly go ahead from May and beyond, but that now looks to be pushed back prior to the current delay in the UK's vaccine rollout. Since we'll be waiting a little longer, Beyoncé's iconic Coachella set is also available to watch on Netflix now.
Before Beyoncè, I don't remember Coachella being this big of an event like the Superbowl Halftime Show, where after you do it, your sales skyrocket & whatnot. I thought it just an event that Indy-artist/Rappers performed at, got high, got a check & that was it. But Beychella really changed the game, now it seems like these artists are really looking forward to showing out at Coachella now!
